Arthur Byrne Reserve Maroubra
Arthur Byrne Reserve Maroubra 2031 NSW Australia is located right by Maroubra Beach and is a popular picnic and sporting location in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.
Beautiful grassy areas are shaded by native trees and surrounded by native plants and bush. Popular recreation at the Arthur Byrne Reserve include kite flying on the wide open grassy spaces, informal and social ball games, jogging and walking. Find out about the Maroubra Life Saving Club just up the road.
The facilities at the park include toilets and change rooms located at the surf club just by the beach. There are bbq’s that the council cleans and maintains (council BBq’s operate from 8am-8pm every day of the year), picnic shelters and bubblers for drinking water.
The free outdoor gym is a popular spot for locals to exercise and includes a range of cardio and strength exercise equipment.
The reserve is a no alcohol space from sunset to sunrise. There are also more facilities at the main Maroubra Beach promenade where cafes, bars and surf shops are available. Visit homepage.
